I am here to support you and your little ones through sleep struggles and tell you YOU’RE NOT ALONE.

My name is Jay Redfearn and I am a level 5 OCN trained sleep consultant with 5 years of experience helping families on their journey to happy sleep. As well as having been there with my own child and experiencing lots of sleep struggles.

I am a qualified Primary school teacher and I have a passion for all things surrounding children’s wellbeing. I have had a deep interest in sleep for many years and I have been helping families during my teaching career, this extended to helping babies and infants when I had my own child.

My little girl was 9 weeks premature and our sleep journey was a little rocky to say the least. This spurred on my interest in infant sleep and prompted me to do extensive research into holistic approaches to sleep to help me and my family become empowered in their sleep knowledge.

How can I help your family?


I can help you by ensuring you that sleep struggles are normal and natural and you or your child are not broken. I aim to offer affordable advice whilst giving you knowledge surrounding the science of sleep, so you understand how to support your little one’s sleep. Whilst changing your view and approach to sleep to that of a calm and consistent one.

I can help with sleep issues small and large. Including early waking which may make the days seem extremely long, through to prolonged bedtime settling which makes you deeply dread bedtime.

This is all done through getting to know your family and your individual sleep goals. I believe one size does not fit all, so all advice is individualised and tailored. I aim to support you through the sleep deprived nights to create brighter days. Because I HAVE BEEN THERE!

New-born sleep support - £40
To support new parents through the early days. A phone call to chat about your sleep journey so far. 30 minutes of sleep advice and top tips over the phone plus supporting documents to help with the next steps along your sleep journey.
Sleep support call - £30
A phone call to give support with current sleep struggles. A call up to 45 minutes to discuss your little one’s sleep struggles and sleep goals. Verbal advice given over the phone, a follow up email detailing your next steps.
Mini moon - £25
A document detailing a suggested sleep routine and approach based on your child’s age, sleep struggles and your sleep goals. This is created from the submission of your sleep story form.
Half Moon - £75
A phone consultation to discuss your little one’s current sleep struggles, as well as your family’s sleep goals. A 5-day written, tailored sleep plan- including a suggested sleep approach and routine to help you on your journey to sleep success. Plus, 1 daily point of text contact to support your sleep journey.
Full Moon - £150
A phone consultation to discuss your little one’s current sleep struggles, as well as your family’s sleep goals. A 10-day written tailored sleep plan- including a suggested sleep approach and routine to help you on your journey to sleep success. Plus, unlimited text support around sleep times and 1 additional sleep support call.
Text support - £30
5 days of unlimited text support to help you with an existing package

I would 100% recommend moonbeams sleep consultant to anybody needing help with sleep. Jay has been nothing short of fantastic throughout the entire two weeks. My son has gone from co sleeping with myself to sleeping in his cot all night - something I felt was initially unachievable! He now naps more regularly and for longer periods, he is also being put down to nap rather than being rocked to sleep which I was doing previously. What a transformation it has been, from Harper escaping her cot,not sleeping or being trusted her own bed, to sleeping in the room with her brother in her big girl bed. Just wanted to say thank you for all your help. Francesca was waking overnight, every 30 minutes crying and we could only get her to sleep at bedtime by feeding and rocking her. I never ever thought this was possible, but tonight she went to sleep in 6 minutes, no bottle, no rocking. We are on night 6 of our personalised sleep plan and she has slept all night every night, waking between 6 and 7. We used to have to bring her into our bed in the middle of the night just to get some sleep. Now, if she stirs during the night she gets herself straight back to sleep, which is another thing I didn’t think she could ever do.
